BEHIND THE MUSIC
I come from a musical family that introduced me to the beauty of music early on. Later, I graduated the National College of Arts from Constanta (Romania) and decided to follow the musical path, thus entering the Gheorghe Dima Academy of Music from Cluj (Romania) where I studied with prof. Daniel Goiti who represented a major musical influence.
During 2013-2014 I came as an exchange student to the University of Arts – Sibelius Academy and I found the entire experience to have helped me evolve and develop considerably in a relatively short time.
From 2015 on, I returned to Helsinki as a Master Degree candidate, continuing my studies with prof. Hui Ying Liu Tawaststjerna and Juhani Lagerspetz.
Since 2017, i've been a Phd candidate at the Gheorghe Dima Academy of Music
A Musical Journey
This would have been a great place to start a list of the prizes i was awarded in national and international competitions, and although i have some my musical journey was impacted more by the musicians i met and the teachers i worked with during the years.
I've been fortunate enough to attend workshops and masterclasses held by renowed piano teachers like Wolfgang Wagenhauser, Gabriel Amiras, Cristian Beldi, Karl Andreas Kolly, Hans Palsson, Jean Claude Pennetier, Jens Harald Bratlie, Aliicja Fiderkiewicz, Viniciu Moroianu, Benjamin Engeli and Claudio Martinez. Moreover, i attended Ioan Holender's cultural institution management workshop.
BORN TO PLAY
...and to give back
Stage is where i feel alive! Nothing compares to the power of creating a performance that by human nature is going to be unique. I've been honored to play on various stages in Romania, France, Belgium, The Netherlands and Finland.
However, i recently discovered i enjoy more and more teaching as well. I've worked with pupils of all ages and levels with great enthusiasm and i can say this is a path i will pursue as well.
